Put in time at a daily newspaper in Texas, ad agencies in Texas and South Carolina, and two major corporations before founding LUX + Associates in 1994.

What she does:
Creates marketing materials with visually compelling imagery that attract the client's target audience.
How long in the business:
More than 17 years
What she did before:
Worked as a graphic designer in an advertising agency and at a local college before starting her own business, Florence Design, Inc., in 1994. Joined Lux + Associates in 2006.
On impact:
Impact is creating just the right brand image for a client that is intriguing, consistent and lasting.
What motivates her
Daughter Payton, time with family, a good workout.
